Mason Hartley Arts Fest

This is Rob Sanford and Trisha Sikora.  They've been making these beautiful glass lamps for 3 years.  Once the materials are acquired, it only takes about 2 hours to assemble these art pieces.  Most of the small lamps are customizable with removable glass panes.  They spend about 6 months building as many of these unique creations, spending time and creating value with each one.  Then they spend 6 months going to art festivals across the country selling them all.  I have to admit, they were probably the coolest people I met at Arts Fest.  They also make little frames with glass pictures; using the stain glass to create scenery.  When I walked into the tent I was immediately intrigued by the art.  However, it was super expensive.  But after talking to them and, not only hearing their process and the time they spend building them, just getting to know them, I really wanted to buy one.  My view of the lamps was enhanced and I saw the uniqueness of each one.  Though I was not able to buy one due to the fact I'm still a broke college student.

(Rob also told me I should get extra credit because it's hard to photograph lamps...)
