Mason Hartley - Final Proposal

     For this assignment I plan on keeping the style of depicting parkour.  I want to show the dynamics of parkour and the elegance of freezing time while in motion.  I want to do this for a number of reasons.  I already mentioned that I want to show the dynamics of parkour but I also want to show the uniqueness of it as well.  Parkour is basically a more universal version of gymnastics.  My other goal is to make each motion look more complex and exaggerated than in reality.  My friends and I will walk around campus looking for the best spots for these pictures.  Using the landscape around us, we are able to make images that are appealing to the eye and portraying motion as well.  I want to have some blurred backgrounds by panning the camera to create the feel of motion as well as make the subject more clear.  I also want to try creative camera angles to make the viewer feel involved and feel like they are doing it as well.  Another benefit from this project is to be able to analyze the techniques used by my friends and to be able to discover and practice better and safer tactics.  Also, from these pictures others can learn the techniques used to better learn safe tactics for themselves.
