final project- Christina Markey

For my final project I have decided to photograph all that I have experienced at Penn State in my summer here. This summer has been my first summer away from the beach, family, old friends, etc. I have learned a new kind of summer here where I feel just as home that has been filled with school work, new friends, new sights, and places to go. This place has become my new summer home. It is different and there is more going on, but it was still one of my favorite summers ever. I have had my first experience with my peers in our first college classes together. We have had the opportunity to exhibit a little bit of what college classes will feel like this fall. We have had many late nights and early mornings working on assignments, projects, homework has given us perspective of how school will feel this year. We have learned responsibility and management with taking these classes this summer. This summer has been an opportunity for making new friends in and out of the classroom. There have been so many activities and events that I have been able to attend with my friends. This summer I have met so many more faces and met so many good friends that I hope to spend my next four with. Memories I have made with my friends these past few weeks have made my summer even more enjoyable. I have been able to take in so many new sights all around University Park that I am excited to capture because they have meant so much to me. This campus is filled with beautiful sights and explorations that I want to be able to share with others. As I have become more familiar with the campus I have been able to pick my favorite sights to admire and have got to know them even more. Penn State is filled with so many places to visit and that has also made me feel at home. There is everything here that I could possibly need to make me feel at home and satisfied.
