Selfie

Days before I left for Penn State, my family spent an extremely hot day in the pool. It was one of the last days I could spend with my family and was emotional for me. Especially for my little sister Brooklynn, and my boyfriend, Donnie. Almost every day for the last four years, us three amigos have shared so many memories together and this was one of the last for a while.
After we got out of the pool, we sat on the couch on my grandparents patio, and began to joke around about me going to Penn State and leaving them behind. My sister, being obsessed with Snapchat, insisted I take a picture of the three of us.
It shows our personalities when we are together. This picture not only captures our friendship, but the amazing bond we have. I not only took this picture because my sister told me to, but I wanted to take this with me to college. To remember one of the last days of my summer before entering a completely different world without them by my side.
I had a similar story with my selfie as well. I totally agree with your ideas about taking the photo with you to college. I've found that looking at old photos and videos from home makes me feel closer. Such a cute picture!!
