I chose to make this selfie of my dog, Scully and I. He was sitting on the couch next to me and I wanted to get a photo of him. I have a ton of photos of him by himself, but I do not have many of me with him.  I love my dog and I wanted to be able to look back at it while I am away from him at college. Also it was right before he got a haircut so I wanted to have a picture of  him with his curlier, long coat rather than his shorter coat. Most of the time, Scully won't come up on the couch because when he was a puppy we trained him not to. But when we got our second dog she never really followed the rules and jumps up on the couch whenever she wants. So now when we invite him up, he still really won't jump up. So it was unusual for him to be on the couch.
