Liz Skinner - Final project proposal

For my final project I want to take pictures of the most important people to me during my 2018 summer sessions here at penn state. I am going to try to make all the photos be close up face portraits in fairly sunny day so that they all match to the best of ability. I want the photos to fit the theme while still telling about how each person is different. From depicting each person's differences in their face also tells about how their differences are towards me. Each person has made a different impact on my life during this summer at college and each person has done this in their own unique way just like how each person has their own unique look. I really want to take these portraits because that is one of the first things we learned in photo 100 and I really think I got the best experience at taking portraits. I learned a lot about taking portraits of others and wanted to show off my learned ability as my final project overruling all the other portraits I have taken thus far as the best of my work yet. Along with wanting to make my best portraits, I have always loved taking photos of others, especially people that are very close to me. I enjoy taking these photos because I have gained a connection with the people in front of the camera and they can feel comfortable, we can talk easy, and when the photos turn out good they always seem to be very happy and enjoy them lots. Since I've had a interest in taking photos of people, when I joined this class and learned even more about taking photos of people I became very happy with the portraits I was creating. I liked to learn about the camera and how to use if with different types of photographs we have taken. For these reasons, I want to take portraits of the most influential people to me this summer. I want to take their photos because each person has shaped me and set me up for success during my first weeks as a college student. The people I plan to take photos of have been influential toward my life in many different ways; some have became my first friends and others have been my supporters through my first steps away from home. I want to remember the photos I took form my first offical prohography class and show the important people to me the photos I took of them and see how much they like how they turned out.
