I took this photo to show my family and my boyfriend that I am enjoying the start of my Penn State career. I wanted to express this through a photo instead of through words, I am not good at expressing myself that way. This photo shows that I am happy and that I am enjoying my time here at Penn State. This was my first time in my dorm room and I wanted to capture the moment so later on I could look back to see how much I enjoyed my first time here. This photo captures a moment that I am going to remember for the rest of my life, I wanted it to show that I am enjoying it here and that it is worth all the time I have spent trying to get here. When I look at this photo I see the first time I walked into my dorm room and that was and is a moment that means a lot to me, capturing is allowing the moment to last forever.
Seeing pictures like this kinda makes me wish I chose to stay in the dorms, especially reading how excited you were to stay in them. It is interesting to see the thought process behind a photo that was probably a few seconds in the making, as we normally take for granted the process of making a photo.
