Alexis Bucha- Final Proposal

For the final project I would like to take photos of peoples smiles. Ive been interested in peoples teeth for a long time. Every since I have had my braces, Ive had an interested in peoples smiles and the way their teeth look. The first thing I look at when I meet someone is the way there teeth look. Most of the time I don't look at the color, because that isn't my mine reason for looking at them. When someone has braces in there mouth, I love to look in there mouth and see whats going on in there. I ask them questions about what the orthodontist is doing, and how they are going about it. When someone needs there tooth pulled, they always call and ask me to do it. I enjoy going to the dentist and learning about everything there. Since I have had my braces off Ive want to be an orthodontist. Ive even thought about being an oral surgeon. But Ive come to the conclusion that I want to be an orthodontist. The reason why I want to take people mouth is because I want people to see peoples smiles the way I see them. I like to look at peoples smiles and see if I could someday fix them for them. I also want to take pictures of people similes to show people that don't have the teeth they want whether its because of money, or because of the age, that no matter what your simile looks like you don't have to find it. Before I got braces my teeth were horrible, and I was sacred to show them but now Im not and the want to help people feel better about there smile. How Im going to accomplish this final is make people feel comfortable enough about there smile to let me take a picture of just there smile, and she them and the world that is it an okay smile.
