Aileen Clarke- Final Proposal

For my final project, I plan on taking 100 different photographs of nature, specifically flowers and plants. Nature has always been something that I have loved and no matter what is happening in my life, I can always stop and enjoy the view. Also I live about  5 minutes away from Longwood Gardens which is a beautiful botanical garden, so I grew up going to gardens and spending hours observing and admiring the beauty of nature. I want to capture the simplicity yet complexity of flowers. I also want to have a variety of flowers close up and then in a cluster of them. I plan on walking around campus and making photographs of anything that catches my eye. I also plan on going to the Arboretum since they have an array of plants and flowers. I think that the viewers can get a lot out of the photographs of flowers. They are very calming to look at and give off positive vibes. I know when my roommates are very stressed out they like going to the Arboretum to decompress and capturing the tranquility of it would be my end goal.
